Error: "Domain has exceeded the max defers and failures per hour" Print

- What does this error mean?

If you receive the error "Domain yourdomain.ext has exceeded the max defers and failures per hour (5/5 (100%)) allowed" as return of mail, it means that the server has temporarily blocked the sending of mail since your domain. This is because your domain has sent messages that are lost or refused by the recipient mail servers. These refusals are in the form of "Unknown user", "User not available", "Mailbox over quota" ....

- How to solve this problem ?

This error is managed by a monitoring system executed once per hour. The blockage is automatically removed at the start of each hour. (Example: if the blocking took place at 17:40, sending is automatically restored at 18:00).

- How to identify the source of the problem?

If you do not know the cause of this problem, you can use the "Track Delivery" tool under the "EMAIL" section of your cPanel interface. This tool allows you to search for returns by entering the email address of a recipient in the "Recipient Email" field, or leave this field empty and display all the results to have the returns in order to identify the address that has caused this problem.
